Technology and platform terms
Part of what you are buying is a configured stack that would take months and real money to assemble yourself. These are the terms that go with it.
Sam Barret Transportation Group LLC, Fort Worth, Texas. Effective 25 August 2026.
What is provided
An isolated transportation management system tenant for your carrier, an accounting file, electronic logging and telematics with managed in cab devices where included, and productivity and email seats. The specific components and counts are listed in your agreement.
Isolation
Each client carrier runs in its own tenant. Your loads, rates, drivers, documents, and financial records are not visible from another carrier's tenant, and they are not pooled into a shared dataset.
Who owns the data
You do. Operational, driver, vehicle, customer, and financial records created in the course of your operation are your records. We hold them as a processor to deliver the service and to meet retention obligations.
We may use aggregated, de identified operational statistics to improve the service. Aggregated means no carrier, driver, customer, rate, or load is identifiable.
Access control
Named individual accounts only. Shared logins are not permitted. Multi factor authentication is required. Access is least privilege and reviewed quarterly. Access is revoked on the day a person leaves.
Third party platforms
Components are provided by third parties under their own terms, and those terms apply to your use of them. We configure, administer, and support the stack. We do not warrant a third party platform's uptime, and where a provider changes or discontinues a feature we will tell you and propose a replacement.
Devices
Managed in cab devices and their data plans remain our property unless your agreement says otherwise. Loss, theft, or damage outside normal wear is charged at replacement cost. Devices are returned on termination.
Acceptable use
Do not use the platforms to store unrelated data, to send unsolicited commercial email, to attempt access to another tenant, or for anything unlawful. Do not resell or sublicense access.
Support and change
Support runs during stated business hours with a documented escalation path for anything that stops a truck. Configuration changes are logged. Material changes to the stack are communicated before they take effect.
Exit
On termination you receive a full export in a common machine readable format, plus your document files. Where a platform is contracted in your own name, we assist with transfer of administration to you.
